Medical Assistant – Lakewood Ranch, FL
Nextaff is urgently hiring an experienced Medical Assistant to support a busy primary care practice in Lakewood Ranch, FL. In this vital role, you’ll be hands-on with patient care — rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting providers, managing records, and keeping the office running smoothly. This is a contract-to-hire, full time position with a Monday-Thursday 7:15 AM-5:30 PM schedule (no nights or weekends and Fridays off)!

What's In It For You:
- $20–$23/hour, based on experience
- Full-time, Monday–Thursday, 7:15 AM–5:30 PM
- Weekly pay – every Friday while on assignment and health insurance eligibility with Nextaff starting Day 1

- Must have at least 1 year of recent Medical Assistant experience in a Primary or Family Care setting
- Experience with EHR systems (eClinicalWorks a plus)
- CPR/BLS certification (through either Red Cross or AHA)
- High school diploma/equivalent & ability to pass background/drug screening
