Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM Temp to Hire 

Job Overview

We are seeking a customer-focused Service Writer to serve as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. This role involves answering customer inquiries, scheduling service work, recommending maintenance and repair services, and ensuring clear communication throughout the repair process. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, automotive knowledge, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with service-related questions.
• Greet customers and gather information about vehicle concerns and service needs.
• Explain maintenance recommendations, repair options, and service timelines.
• Create and manage service work orders.
• Communicate with technicians regarding vehicle diagnostics and repair status.
• Recommend appropriate maintenance and repair services to customers.
• Provide exceptional customer service while helping drive service department sales.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous customer service or service writing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain technical information in a customer-friendly manner.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
