Travel IR Tech Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,830–$3,040
• Location: Lewes, Delaware
• Healthcare Setting: Acute-care hospital; Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 30, 2026
• End Date: March 1, 2027
• Schedule: 4 shifts per week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts, 7:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Charting System: EPIC
• Orientation: 16 hours

Interventional Radiology Technologist Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, IR Tech, or Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting
• Experience supporting interventional radiology procedures; Cath Lab experience is preferred
• ARRT certification
• Interventional Radiology Technologist certification or demonstrated IR competency
• Current BLS certification, preferably through the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification, preferably through the American Heart Association
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with radiology and procedural teams

Interventional Radiology Tech Responsibilities

• Assist with interventional radiology procedures and Cath Lab cases while maintaining a safe, organized procedural environment
• Prepare imaging equipment, procedure rooms, and supplies for scheduled cases
• Provide high-quality radiographic imaging and support safe patient positioning
• Collaborate with radiologists, cardiology providers, nurses, and other members of the procedural team
• Follow radiation safety, infection prevention, and patient care standards
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in EPIC
• Perform general X-ray examinations when interventional procedure volume is low
