Cath Lab Technologist Job Details

• Location: Lewes, Delaware
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,940–$3,160
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel allied health assignment
• Assignment Dates: November 30, 2026–March 1, 2027
• Healthcare Setting: Acute-care cardiac catheterization laboratory
• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, primarily Monday through Friday
• Hours: 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Call Requirement: Weekend call approximately once every four weekends, plus approximately one to two nights of call per week depending on staffing needs
• Charting System: EPIC
• Work Arrangement: On-site

Cath Lab Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, Cardiovascular Technologist, or Cardiac Catheterization Technologist
• Recent experience in an acute-care cardiac catheterization or interventional cardiology setting
• Completion of an approved cardiovascular or radiologic technology program, as applicable
• Eligible professional credentials may include RT, ARRT, CV, or RCIS through CCI
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH certification preferred; assistance may be available for candidates who do not currently hold this certification
• Current flu vaccination required
• Ability to participate in scheduled shifts, overnight call, and weekend call rotations

Cath Lab Technologist Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Prepare procedure rooms, specialized equipment, supplies, and patients for cardiovascular procedures
• Support cardiologists, physicians, and the multidisciplinary cardiac cath team during procedures
• Operate and maintain cardiac cath lab equipment in accordance with established safety standards
• Monitor procedural supplies and help maintain a clean, organized, and sterile environment
• Provide responsive cardiovascular procedure support during scheduled shifts and assigned call coverage
• Document patient care and procedural information accurately in EPIC
• Follow hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and applicable regulatory requirements
