Pay: $40–$48/hour for PT/OT; $30–$35/hour for PTA/OTA

What You’ll Do

As Rehab Director, you’ll help oversee the daily operations and clinical success of the rehabilitation department while supporting patient care within your professional scope of practice.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead, supervise, and support therapy department staff, including onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.

• Coordinate staffing levels and workflow to support efficient department operations.

• Monitor department budgets, productivity, and resource utilization.

• Oversee clinical documentation, quality assurance activities, and compliance audits.

• Develop and implement plans to address performance or compliance concerns.

• Identify opportunities to grow therapy services and develop new programs.

• Conduct staff meetings, in-services, and educational activities.

• Collaborate with facility leadership, physicians, patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.

• Support documentation, billing, insurance authorizations, and reimbursement processes as needed.

• Help maintain compliance with applicable regulations, safety procedures, and organizational policies.

• Develop evidence-based treatment approaches and coordinate comprehensive patient care.

• Provide discipline-specific evaluation and treatment services as appropriate to your credentials and scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting or Occupational Therapist Assisting, or a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy, as applicable to your discipline.

• Current Minnesota license or applicable state credential for your discipline.

• Five years of discipline-specific therapy experience, including director or management experience, preferred.

• Experience managing a multidisciplinary therapy department or familiarity with other therapy disciplines preferred.

• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to support staff development, maintain compliance, and promote quality patient care.
