Job Description:

Join a travel emergency department assignment in Kirksville, Missouri, caring for patients of all ages—from neonates to older adults—with presentations ranging from urgent conditions to high-acuity emergencies. Working 12-hour night shifts from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., you will triage and rapidly assess patients, manage stroke, STEMI, trauma, and sepsis cases, and provide hands-on emergency care across ESI levels 1–5. Responsibilities include IV and port access, medication administration, NG/OG and Foley placement, wound care, splinting, and assisting with central line, arterial line, and chest tube procedures. Weekend coverage is required, and blocked scheduling may be requested. This team-based assignment also includes occasional floating to support other departments and coordinating placement for behavioral health patients boarding in the emergency department.
