Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel assignment as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse on an acute rehabilitation unit in Saint Joseph, Missouri. You will care for patients transitioning from the medical center who need continued physical, occupational, or speech therapy, including individuals recovering from surgery, stroke, heart failure, fractures, weakness, or other medical-surgical conditions.

This role offers 12-hour night shifts with a collaborative, team-based approach. Responsibilities include daily patient care, IV insertions, lab draws, discharge planning with therapy and care management teams, and caring for up to six patients at night. The unit is non-telemetry, though a basic EKG assessment is required before starting. Candidates should hold the required nursing licensure and BCLS certification; ACLS is preferred.
