Postpartum/MB/Couplet Care RN in Charleston, West Virginia

Job Description:

Join a Charleston mother-baby team as an experienced postpartum and newborn registered nurse on a 13-week travel contract. You will care for postpartum and stable antepartum patients, provide assessments and education, support breastfeeding families, and care for well or slightly ill newborns. The assignment includes day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., three shifts per week, with every other weekend required. Your newborn-care responsibilities may include phototherapy, glucose monitoring, IV antibiotics, cardiac monitoring, thermoregulation, metabolic screening, neonatal abstinence support, and discharge teaching. NRP and BLS are required; CLC certification is preferred. No call is required.
