Job Description:

This 13-week travel nursing assignment in Parkersburg supports a busy medical-surgical and cardiac observation unit. You will care for patients with pre- and post-cath needs, chest pain rule-outs on heparin drips, COPD, CHF, pacemakers, arrhythmias, and other medical-surgical diagnoses. The role includes reading and interpreting cardiac strips, managing set-rate Cardizem and Amiodarone, completing assessments, medications, EKGs, bladder scans, blood glucose checks, vital signs, and activities of daily living. Experience with TR Bands is a plus. The assignment follows 12-hour night shifts and may include floating to areas such as ICU or stepdown for patients within your skill set. Every-other-weekend coverage is expected for travelers.
