Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Job Requirements

• Active RN license (New Jersey or Compact State) — must be eligible to work as an RN in NJ
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required (perioperative/OR RN experience)
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient-safety focused skills
• Pediatric OR or PACU experience is a plus for pediatric surgical assignments

Key Responsibilities – Operating Room / Perioperative Nurse

• Provide direct perioperative patient care in the Operating Room, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Assist with surgical procedures across multiple specialties including Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Pathology, Pediatric OR, and PACU support
• Monitor patient status and promptly respond to intraoperative changes
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and the broader healthcare team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to infection control and sterile technique standards
