ICU/CCU/Critical Care RN in Kearney, Nebraska

This ICU RN position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work in a 33-bed unit with an average daily census of 16 patients. You will manage a case mix that includes trauma, cardiac, overdose, substance abuse, sepsis, stroke, and renal failure. The role involves titrating various cardiac drips, including insulin and sedation, and utilizing advanced ventilator equipment such as Vents, Cpap, BiPap, and High Flow devices. Shifts are 12 hours long, with the flexibility of day and night shifts, and a total weekly commitment of 36 hours over a 13-week contract. This assignment provides a firsthand experience in a busy ICU setting, perfect for skilled RNs seeking a fast-paced environment with a focus on acute patient stabilization and respiratory management.
