Job description
Join a premier hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, as a registered nurse in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry Department for a 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts. This role offers the opportunity to care for adult oncology patients in a mixed acuity unit, where you'll manage up to five patients per shift. You'll need to be comfortable floating within the hospital to meet staffing needs, including potentially working across various units such as Neuro and Trauma. Expect engaging, fast-paced work with complex medication and blood product administration, but note that chemotherapy is not part of this assignment. The setting provides a chance to apply your skills on a large, urban campus, working with EPIC charting and drips, and collaborating with care techs, transport teams, and other healthcare professionals.
