Job description
Press Operator
18.00/hr 1st shift: M-F 6AM - 230PMExpress Employment Professionals is partnered with a local manufacturing company seeking Press Operators to join their team. This position is responsible for operating press equipment, producing quality parts, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate mechanical and hydraulic press machines safely and efficiently
- Load materials into machines and remove finished products
- Perform visual quality inspections on completed parts
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Follow work orders, production schedules, and quality standards
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues to supervisors
- Complete production documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with packaging, assembly, and other production-related duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
