Tonica: Agronomy CDL Driver

Agronomy CDL Driver (Class A or B) Tonica, IL $30.00/Hour
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Agronomy CDL Driver for a respected agricultural operation in the Tonica, IL area. This position is responsible for operating a Tender Truck or Nurse Truck to support agronomy and field operations during the agricultural season. Candidates must possess a valid Class A or Class B CDL, Tanker Endorsement, Hazmat Endorsement, and be able to operate a manual transmission.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Weekend work as needed during peak seasons

Pay

• $30.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate tender trucks and nurse trucks to transport seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products.
• Deliver products to field locations in a timely and efficient manner.
• Load and unload liquid and dry agricultural products as needed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery and transportation records.
• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with agronomy staff, dispatch, and customers.
• Assist with other agronomy-related duties during downtime.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Current Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements required.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety practices.
• Previous agricultural, agronomy, tender truck, or nurse truck experience preferred.
• Ability to work long hours during busy planting and harvest seasons.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
