✅ Contract-to-Hire | Long-Term OpportunityChampion Personnel is hiring an experienced Metal Finisher / Hand Grinder for a busy manufacturing company in Cleveland that builds packaging and shrink-wrapping equipment used in the food and retail industries.This is NOT an entry-level grinding position. Previous hand grinding and metal finishing experience is required.Pay Based on Experience:💰 $19/hour – Candidates with solid hand grinding and metal finishing experience💰 $20/hour – Candidates with powder coating experience in addition to grinding/finishing experienceWhat You'll Be Doing:

• Use hand grinders to smooth edges and surfaces on aluminum and other metal components
• Grind, deburr, smooth, and finish metal parts
• Polish finished metal pieces
• Prepare surfaces to achieve a clean, quality finish
• Inspect finished pieces for consistency and quality
• Perform repetitive finishing work while maintaining attention to detail
• Assist with additional metal finishing duties as needed
• Work with components used to manufacture industrial shrink-wrapping equipment

What We're Looking For:

• Previous hand grinding experience REQUIRED
• Previous metal finishing experience REQUIRED
• Experience polishing, deburring, or smoothing aluminum/metal
• Powder coating experience is a HUGE PLUS and qualifies experienced candidates for $20/hour
• Manufacturing experience
• Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on work
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Able to lift up to approximately 20 lbs.
• Dependable with good attendance
