Part-Time Production Associate

Our client is growing like crazy, and we are hiring new folks for our team! We're currently seeking Part-Time Production Associates for a fast-paced meat processing facility in Opelika, AL. This role supports production line monitoring and operations across multiple Frozen department areas including Grinding, Forming, Packaging, and the Scale Room. Ideal candidates are reliable, adaptable, and ready to jump in wherever the line needs support.

Pay Rate: $14.00/hr (1st Shift) | $15.00/hr (2nd Shift)
Employment Type: Part-TimeAvailable Shifts:

• 1st Shift A | 6:30 AM – 10:45 AM | $14.00/hr
• 1st Shift B | 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM | $14.00/hr
• 2nd Shift A | 2:30 PM – 6:45 PM | $15.00/hr
• 2nd Shift B | 7:00 PM – 11:30 PM | $15.00/hr

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor production lines and machine operations across Frozen department areas — Grinding, Forming, Packaging, and Scale Room.
• Perform rework tasks as needed to maintain production flow and quality standards.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all safety procedures.
• Wear required PPE — rubber gloves, plastic apron/sleeves, bump hat, eye and ear protection.
• Stand and walk for the full shift in temperatures of 35–45°F (occasionally below 10°F).
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be at least the age of 18 years old.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple stations and adapt to changing production needs.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
