Part-Time Production Associate (1st Shift)

Our client is growing like crazy, and we are hiring new folks for our team! We're currently seeking Part-Time Production Associates for a fast-paced meat processing facility in Opelika, AL. This role supports production line monitoring and operations across multiple Frozen department areas including Grinding, Forming, Packaging, and the Scale Room. Pay Rate: $14.00/hr (1st Shift) | $15.00/hr (2nd Shift)

• Early Block | 5:30 AM – 10:00 AM (4.5 hrs)
• Late Block | 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM (4.5 hrs)

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor production lines and machine operations across Frozen department areas — Grinding, Forming, Packaging, and Scale Room.
• Perform rework tasks as needed to maintain production flow and quality standards.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all safety procedures.
• Wear required PPE — rubber gloves, plastic apron/sleeves, bump hat, eye and ear protection.
• Stand and walk for the full shift in temperatures of 35–45°F (occasionally below 10°F).
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and move up to 60 lbs.
• Must be comfortable working in cold environments for the full duration of the shift.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple stations and adapt to changing production needs.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
