ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER – SAN ANTONIO, TX

Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nation’s premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Electrical Project Manager in San Antonio, Texas.

Compensation & Benefits

• Total Compensation: $95,000 – $125,000 (depending on experience; higher for exceptional candidates)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project schedules; identify long-lead items and ensure timely execution

• Negotiate and execute change orders, subcontracts, and purchase orders

• Complete monthly project status reports, owner billings, and risk assessments

• Identify and recommend value engineering and cost-saving opportunities

• Ensure project safety plans are communicated and enforced across all teams

• Manage buyout and preconstruction efforts

• Review project designs for constructability and efficiency

• Oversee adherence to contracts, budgets, insurances, and change orders

• Mentor and lead project teams, providing guidance on development and performance

• Collaborate with leadership on staffing, job assignments, and training

Qualifications

• Strong and stable employment history

• Industry-related degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• 3+ years of ground-up commercial or industrial electrical construction experience, including project management responsibilities

• Proven ability to lead, develop, and mentor others in a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrated skills in communication, leadership, client relations, budgeting, and problem-solving

• Experience with Conest and Accubid estimating software

• Proficiency in project management and scheduling platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, Asta, or JDE (training provided)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred (Not Required):

• College degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
