Pay: $19.00–$25.00/hour DOE

Schedule: Full-time; daily schedule and hours vary based on assigned service routes.Job SummaryExpress Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Pool Service Technician to maintain, service, and troubleshoot residential and commercial swimming pools throughout the Sacramento area.The ideal candidate will have experience with pool maintenance, water chemistry, and equipment repairs. This position requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of residential and commercial swimming pools.
• Test and balance pool water chemistry, including chlorine, pH, and alkalinity levels.
• Skim, brush, and vacuum pools to maintain cleanliness and water quality.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and timers.
• Diagnose issues involving pool plumbing, leaks, electrical components, and automation systems.
• Safely handle and transport pool chemicals.
• Maintain accurate service records and document maintenance or repair needs.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding pool conditions and service recommendations.
• Complete assigned daily service routes efficiently and accurately.
• Follow all company safety procedures and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of pool maintenance, pool service, or related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pool chemistry, filtration systems, pumps, and equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong time management, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varying daily service schedule.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is a plus.
