Environmental Field Technician

The Environmental Field Technician is responsible for providing daily support services for projects. Duties primarily include labor tasks, use of hand tools, and limited operation of small equipment (such as skid steers, water truck, sweeper, forklift, small loaders), and other work in various departments throughout the company. Essential Functional Areas of Responsibilities 

1. Performs labor tasks such as lifting and carrying objects for projects
2. Use of hand tools and limited operation of small equipment
3. Correct completion of all job-specific, employee-related AIS paperwork including Timesheets, Daily Work Orders, Driver’s Logs, and Daily Tailgate Safety Meeting Forms (as required)
4. Performs other duties as assigned

  Supervisory Responsibilities  This position does not have direct reports.  Minimum Requirements 

1. Requires High School or GED (or equivalent reading, writing, and reasoning skills) 
2. 0-1 years of experience performing related labor or general construction work 
3. HAZWOPER certification required
4. Basic construction safety courses outlined in the AIS training matrix is required

1. Ability to use/operate basic industrial equipment including hand tools, skid steers, water truck, sweeper, forklift, small loaders, and other small equipment
