Med/Surg RN in Dickinson, North Dakota

Job Description

Join a MedSurg/Pediatrics team in Dickinson, North Dakota, for a 13-week travel nursing contract on 12-hour night shifts. This role supports both adult and pediatric patients with conditions including urinary tract infections, altered mental status, pneumonia, and COPD. You will manage typical med-surg responsibilities, apply telemetry, read strips, and occasionally troubleshoot BiPAP equipment while respiratory therapy manages the primary treatment.

The unit uses a 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. schedule with self-scheduling, navy blue scrubs, and one 12-hour department-specific orientation shift, with additional orientation available if needed. Floating to the ED or ICU for 1:1 assignments may be required. This assignment is a good fit for an adaptable RN who is comfortable caring for both adults and children, asking questions when needed, and working closely with the team.
