Job Description
Join a 14-week travel contract as a PCU Registered Nurse caring for adult and geriatric patients in an intermediate-care and medical-surgical setting. You will manage a 1:4 assignment with patients requiring telemetry monitoring and conditions such as dysrhythmias, CHF, acute stroke symptoms, acute coronary syndrome, and myocardial ischemia. The role centers on timely admissions, patient throughput, and individualized care for patients arriving through direct admission, clinics, physician offices, prompt care centers, or emergency admissions.
Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Every other weekend is expected unless otherwise specified. BLS and ACLS certifications and at least two years of experience are required; first-time travelers are welcome. You may float within the facility and your scope of practice as needed. Navy blue scrubs are required, with Epic and Pyxis used on the unit.
