CT Technologist Job Details

• Location: Atlanta, Georgia
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital-based radiology and medical imaging
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,980–$2,120
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Hours per Week: 40
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, through February 6, 2027
• Employment Type: Travel assignment
• Holiday Availability: Work two of three major holidays—Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day—and one minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, CT Tech, or Computed Tomography Technologist
• Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols, diagnostic imaging procedures, radiation safety, and patient care practices
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with radiologists, radiology technologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality computed tomography examinations in accordance with established imaging protocols
• Review provider orders and patient histories to ensure appropriate exam preparation and positioning
• Operate CT scanners safely and efficiently while maintaining diagnostic image quality
• Screen patients for contraindications and follow radiation-safety and contrast-safety procedures
• Monitor patients throughout CT examinations and respond appropriately to clinical needs
• Document procedures accurately and communicate relevant findings or concerns to the radiology and patient care teams
• Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-ready medical imaging environment
