Join an experienced diagnostic radiology team as a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) on an on-site travel healthcare contract in Cumming, GA. This opportunity offers a consistent Monday-through-Thursday schedule, exposure to a broad range of diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, and the chance to support both inpatient and outpatient patients. Travel Radiology Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,530-$1,650
• Location: Cumming, Georgia
• Healthcare Setting: On-site diagnostic radiology department serving inpatient and outpatient populations
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• End Date: February 6, 2027
• Schedule: 4 shifts per week, Monday through Thursday
• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts, approximately 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Hours: 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Department Volume: Approximately 150 diagnostic imaging exams per 24-hour period
• Holiday Requirement: Two major holidays and one minor holiday may be required according to department scheduling expectations

Radiologic Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiology
• Valid Radiologic Technologist certification or registration
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Recent operating room, C-arm, and fluoroscopy experience
• Experience performing inpatient and outpatient X-ray and diagnostic imaging exams
• Working knowledge of Cerner or a comparable electronic medical record system
• Ability to work independently in a busy 24-hour imaging department

Diagnostic Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform routine diagnostic radiographic and X-ray examinations for inpatient and outpatient patients
• Support fluoroscopic procedures, including inpatient and outpatient exams
• Provide operating room imaging support for C-arm procedures
• Assist with lumbar punctures and other image-guided procedures as assigned
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while following radiation safety standards and department protocols
• Accurately document exams and patient information in Cerner
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team
