Travel RN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460–$1,540
• Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Medicine Unit
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, through February 13, 2027
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Schedule: 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., three shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Holiday Requirement: Must work two major holidays and one minor holiday during the assignment, according to scheduling needs

Medical-Surgical RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Georgia
• At least 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing or acute medicine experience
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work overnight shifts and meet the assignment’s holiday expectations
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, assessment, and patient-care skills

Travel RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in an acute medicine hospital setting
• Assess patient conditions, develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, and evaluate outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support effective patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and promote a safe, patient-centered care environment
