Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,970-$2,080

• End Date: February 13, 2027
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Day shift, approximately 6:45 a.m.-5:15 p.m., Monday-Friday scheduling
• Shift Duration: 10 hours
• Shifts per Week: 4
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Healthcare Setting: On-site outpatient surgical center
• Holiday Expectations: Work two major holidays among Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, plus one minor holiday among the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve

Operating Room RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Georgia
• At least 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience
• Previous Operating Room Registered Nurse experience in a surgical or perioperative setting
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to commit to the full travel nursing assignment, scheduled shifts, and holiday expectations
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, teamwork, and collaboration skills

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients throughout the perioperative experience.
• Prepare patients, equipment, supplies, and the operating room for scheduled procedures.
• Support the surgical team while maintaining aseptic technique and strict patient safety standards.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures and promptly communicate changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice and according to established protocols.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and promote compliance with perioperative policies.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and other members of the care team to support efficient surgical workflows.
