Job Description:
This 13-week travel nursing assignment supports recovery care across inpatient and outpatient PACU areas, a surgery center, and an anesthesia clinic in Wheeling. You will care for Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery patients following general, neurological, thoracic, cardiac catheterization, radiology, and other procedural cases. The role includes recovering ICU patients in PACU, excluding open-heart cases, interpreting telemetry strips, and floating across designated recovery areas as needed. Flexibility is important, as cases may run beyond scheduled end times and call coverage is part of the assignment.
