MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Gulfport, MS 39503 | Full-Time | $18–$28 per Hour
POSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking a Maintenance Technician with a strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance. This role supports equipment reliability through preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, troubleshooting, reporting, and inventory management of maintenance parts and supplies.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and complete breakdown repairs.
- Read and interpret equipment schematics to diagnose equipment problems.
- Identify sources of problems by observing mechanical equipment in operation.
- Remove or replace defective parts and components as needed.
- Document maintenance activities and report equipment issues.
- Monitor parts and supply inventories, check stock levels, and help maintain necessary supplies.
- Supervise maintenance projects as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow applicable safety procedures.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Previous maintenance experience, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Two years of maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Ability to commute to Gulfport, MS 39503 (required).
