Job description

Join us for a 13-week travel ICU contract in Atlanta, GA, where you'll be working on high-acuity, cardiac-focused PCU units. This role is perfect for experienced cardiac nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy interpreting complex cardiac rhythms independently. Expect to handle a variety of procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, and STEMI/NSTEMI care, with a patient load of 4 to 5 high-acuity patients per shift. The shift involves 12-hour days, offering a great work-life balance with plenty of opportunities to hone your skills in a specialized setting. If you're looking to challenge yourself and make a real impact on patient outcomes, this assignment provides a unique chance to work with advanced equipment such as LVADs and heart transplants, with training available if needed. Be prepared for a rewarding experience where your expertise in cardiac telemetry and drips like Amiodarone, Heparin, and Nitroglycerin will be vital in caring for patients recovering from critical cardiac events.
