Pie Mixer Operator Job Summary We're hiring a Bakery Mixer Operator in Pleasant View to join a busy production bakery making cookies and frosting. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday day shift role paying $21.50 an hour — with a consistent schedule that has you home by early afternoon every day. What You'll Do
Schedule: Candidates will start on 1st shift and must transition to 2nd shift once the Pie Department’s 2nd shift opens. Availability to work both shifts is required. - Weigh and measure ingredients according to production formulas
- Load ingredients into industrial mixers and operate equipment for specified mix times
- Produce consistent batches of cookies, frosting, and related bakery products
- Monitor mix quality and adjust as needed throughout your shift
- Keep your work area clean and sanitary — this is a hands-on, messy production environment
- Lift and handle ingredient bags and materials up to 55 lbs regularly
- Follow food safety and production standards throughout the shift
- Previous experience operating a mixer, machine, or similar production equipment
- Basic math skills for measuring and weighing ingredients accurately
- Ability to read and follow written formulas and instructions in English
- Non-slip, closed-toe shoes (the facility has loaners available until your first paycheck)
- Must be Bilingual (Spanish & English)
- Experience in a food production or bakery environment
- Comfort working in a fast-moving production setting where output and pace matter
