Job description
Cure Technician Job SummaryJoin a leading bicycle manufacturer in Ogden as a Cure Technician earning $19.50/hour with Monday-Friday shifts and no weekends required. You'll work with cutting-edge composite curing technology to help produce high-quality bicycle frames and rims. What You'll Do
- Prepare and operate industrial ovens to cure composite bicycle parts according to engineering specifications
- Monitor critical process parameters including oven temperatures and pressures during cure cycles
- Use pneumatic and automated tools to bolt up and remove molds safely
- Remove bladders from bicycle rims using various techniques including manual extraction and cleaning methods
- Clean and prepare molds and rings for reuse in the layup process
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
- Use precision hand tools including temperature gauges, hammers, punches, and torque wrenches
- Lift materials up to 60 pounds consistently throughout your shift
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds consistently
- Good hand-eye coordination and measuring skills
- Basic math skills and ability to read engineering drawings
- Experience with hand tools and precision instruments
- Composite manufacturing background
- Quick learning ability in fast-paced environments
- Day Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
