Job Description:
This 13-week travel assignment is designed for an experienced Emergency Department RN providing adult emergency care on 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The fast-paced community emergency department manages a high admission volume and commonly treats stroke, STEMI, sepsis, respiratory and cardiac conditions, and orthopedic emergencies. The RN will use strong emergency nursing skills, manage lines, obtain 12-lead EKGs, interpret telemetry, perform cardioversion and defibrillation, and support patients requiring procedural sedation, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, or tracheostomy care. The assignment includes limited trauma or pediatric exposure, with chemical dependency experience preferred.
