Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent nursing experience, preferably in Labor & Delivery or a similar obstetric or maternal-newborn setting
- Strong assessment, monitoring, and critical thinking skills in maternal and newborn care
- Ability to complete specialty competency and onboarding requirements
- Comfort working in a collaborative, patient-focused healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Support physicians and the interdisciplinary care team during deliveries and obstetric procedures
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing experience
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold safe, evidence-based nursing practices
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote positive outcomes for mothers and newborns
