Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology or equivalent
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid Physician license (California medical license preferred/required)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Other specialty certifications as required by facility
• Strong clinical judgment in both low- and high-risk obstetrics and gynecologic care

Responsibilities — OB/GYN Clinical Duties

• Manage full spectrum of obstetric care for low- and high-risk pregnancies
• Interpret fetal heart rate monitoring including NST, CST, and FSE
• Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds (Level I and Level II)
• Conduct routine and complicated deliveries, including spontaneous vaginal and low forceps deliveries
• Make timely clinical decisions for cesarean delivery and perform C-sections as needed
• Perform primary repair of 3rd and 4th degree perineal lacerations
• Provide office-based and minor gynecology procedures such as IUD placement, colposcopy, cryosurgery, cystoscopy, and LEEP
• Perform surgical gynecology including open and laparoscopic procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital protocols and quality initiatives
