Job description
This ICU RN contract offers a hands-on experience in a fast-paced hospital setting, where you'll be working in the Intensive Care Unit of Nampa Hospital. The role involves managing complex cases such as heart failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, and post-surgical patients. Expect to titrate drips like Propofol, Levophed, and Fentanyl, as well as monitor ventilators including Vents, High Flow, and Bipap. You'll operate in 12-hour night shifts, with a schedule that may include floating to other ICUs or telehealth via the intensivist. This assignment is perfect for RNs with at least one year of ICU experience who thrive in a collaborative team environment and are comfortable working first-time traveler roles. The unit is supported by on-site Hospitalist coverage 24/7, with additional resources like RTs and CNA support, making it an excellent opportunity to sharpen your skills in a supportive atmosphere without facing patient care responsibilities outside of critical care tasks.
