Maintenance Technician - Apartment Community
Location: Lincoln, CAPay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour (DOE)

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations of a well-maintained apartment community in Lincoln, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience performing general apartment maintenance, troubleshooting repairs, and delivering excellent customer service to residents. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining quality living environments, and is looking for a stable, long-term position.Responsibilities
- Complete maintenance service requests in occupied and vacant apartments
- Perform basic plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, and drains
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting and minor electrical repairs
- Repair and replace appliances, fixtures, and hardware
- Perform carpentry, painting, drywall, and flooring repairs
- Maintain common areas, grounds, and community facilities
- Prepare vacant units for new residents (make-readies/turns)
- Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or general maintenance experience preferred
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general repairs
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Preferred Qualifications
- Apartment maintenance experience
- HVAC certification or EPA certification
- Experience with property management maintenance systems
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb stairs for extended periods
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
