CT Technologist Job Details

• Location: Pottstown, Pennsylvania
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,600–$2,790
• Employment Type: 13-week travel contract
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Contract End Date: February 14, 2027
• Schedule: 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
• Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
• On-Call: Participation required as assigned
• Work Setting: On-site hospital CT department

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, Computed Tomography Technologist, or Radiologic Technologist with CT experience
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to complete required Pennsylvania fingerprinting and credentialing
• Experience working with GE and Toshiba CT scanners
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures, patient safety standards, and radiation safety practices
• Ability to work independently, collaborate with radiology and clinical teams, and provide compassionate patient care

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations in accordance with departmental protocols and physician orders
• Operate GE and Toshiba CT equipment safely and efficiently
• Prepare patients for imaging, explain procedures, and promote comfort and cooperation
• Verify patient information, screen for safety concerns, and follow appropriate contrast and radiation safety procedures
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining accurate documentation
• Monitor patients throughout examinations and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other members of the care team
• Participate in assigned on-call coverage and support hospital imaging department operations as needed
